Many types of wood can be supplied pre-finished, often at a similar price to unfinished wood. Pre-finished flooring has typically been treated with 5-6 coats of UV sealant for a strong and easy to maintain surface.

Pre-finished floors avoid the need for sanding and sealing. This reduces the time and thus the cost of fitting, it also minimises disruption and dust.  In some cases, solid wood can cost less to install than engineered board.

However, for those who want a custom floor, finished to their specifications, in the wood of their choice, we can offer an extensive choice unfinished hardwood and finishes. One of our specialisations is traditional parquet and borders.

Below are some examples of our work:

The photo above on the left shows a Walnut floor and hallway finsihed with Bonakemi Trafffic polyeurethane sealant. On the right, we have laid Walnut on the  landings, clad the existing stairs and stained the bannisters to match.

The two pictures above show an Oak parquet with a 100mm Oak border and 20mm Walnut inlay.

This is an example of American White Oak finished with Lobadur WS Global. Here we replaced all the skirting, including the curved section in the bay.
